APPROVAL OF THE FABRICS/FIBERS GRANT PROPOSAL TO THE WELLER FUND SARASOTA COMMUNITY FUND FOR PINE VIEW
Description
COMPETITIVE: Grant funds of $5,000.00 will allow Pine View to start a new class called Fabrics/Fibers. The class will concentrate on teaching the so-called home arts of sewing, weaving, crocheting and knitting to name just a few. Students will be learning through hands-on activities involving fabrics and fibers.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Fabrics/Fibers grant proposal.
